From the traffic circle at the south end of Crandon Park, Crandon Boulevard continues to the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Recreation Area, a 460 acre park with the brick Cape Florida Lighthouse and light keeper´s cottage. Follow Crandon Boulevard back to Crandon Park trough Key Biscayne´s downtown village, where shops and a 10 acre village green cater mainly to local residents. On your way back to the mainland, pause as you approach the Powell Bridge to admire the Miami skyline. At night the brightly lighted Bank of America building looks like a clipper ship running under full sail before the breeze.
Key Biscayne´s long and winding roads are great for rollerblading and bicycling, and its lush laziness provides a respite from the buzz-saw tempo of SoBe.
